The month that closes the desi calendar is Phagun, (फागुन ,پھاگن). It generally falls in February and March (mid-February to mid-March). It is taken as an announcement of the spring season. The climate is neither hot nor cool. Colourful flowers can be seen everywhere. Green fields often attract people to them. These are perfect days to enjoy outdoor activities and games.

फागुन (پھاگن) brings happiness and prosperity to farmers. They get ready to harvest the wheat crops which are ripened. This month marks the end of the Rabi season. After harvesting, they have to prepare their fields for the Kharif crops.
